Funny or egotistical?

Thought this might be interesting - especially since I get hits from my students' web pages.

These are some pages on the internet that randomly link back my site.

BTW, if you're one of my students looking at this page, have the guts to leave your URL. You came to my site, let me see yours. ;)

Moral: The Internet is a public place, so don't do anything emabarrasing.
Or: Feel free to steal my stuff, you punks. No wait, that's not a moral. In fact, don't steal. It's bad.

Snowboarding in Korea

Here's my first real post. It's about snowboarding and how much I love it.

I think that there may not be anything in the world as great as boarding. The feeling of strapping on the board and cruising down the hill is awesome. I grew up as a skater and in high school I made the progression to snowboarding. While in the States I only made it to the mountian a few times, but living in Korea offers me a lot of chances to get out and hit the slopes. We have a crew at my school that gets out every weekend, and it has been a lot of fun.

This year I bit the bullet and bought my first board. Check it out below.

This past weekend, we were reminded of our mortality when we sent a comrade to the hospital. Although he didn't break or dislocate his shoulder, it's not quite right. We met him at the hospital after 5 hours of boarding, slept for 3.5 hours and boarded for 5 more hours. Don't accuse me of being a bad friend; he had plenty of medication to help ease the pain. In any case, it was an interesting weekend and I'm sure more will follow.

Here are the board and bindings. God bless eBay.
