More Borneo
So, Sipadan was incredible! The diving was some of the best I've done. I saw lots and lots of sea turtles and reef sharks. A highlight was the 12 or 15 reef sharks that were schooling about 3 meters from us. It was awesome. I spent a day diving and wished the whole time that I had more time to spend diving. My last day in Borneo was spent snorkeling on a small beach. It was terribly relaxing and I saw more turtles. I also saw a Banded Sea Snake. It was super creepy following him around knowing that a single bite could kill me dead in seven minutes. Luckily, they "almost never" attack. Remember-don't touch anything underwater. Yikes.
Now I''m back in Korea and trying to adjust to working. Vacation is so much better. :)
Here are some more pics and an updated map of the world proving I was there. Checklists be damned! I'm having the time of my life. Who has suggestions for my summer trip? Africa, South American snowboarding? Help me out.
Love,
jc

This old oil platform is now a resort!

How many bananas?

Three!
Maybe some day I'll get around to posting all of my pics from Borneo. And India. And Japan. And last summer's around the world.....

EG, huh? Well, they do speak Spanish, so that would be a plus. On the down side, isn't it supposed to be one of the most dangerous places in the world?
