Seriously, DO IT!

Here is the best recipe that you'll ever cook. This recipe works well for one dinner, one lunch then one dinner. (I know, pathetic, but you do what you can.) Honestly, if you have a friend, invite them for dinner. If you have someone that you're courting, this recipe will hook them forever, proving you're an awesome cook.)

INGREDIENTS
1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 bunch fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 jalapeno chile pepper, stem and seeds removed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup ground unsalted cashews
1 cup heavy whipping cream
salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Remove and discard the skin from the chicken. Wash parts and pat dry. Combine the garlic and ginger and rub over the chicken. Place the chicken parts in a 9x13 inch baking dish, cover with foil and set aside.
Meanwhile, place the cilantro, cumin, jalapeno chile pepper and lemon juice in a blender and puree until smooth, adding some water if necessary. Set this aside for later. In a separate small bowl, combine the cashews with the cream. Mix well and pour over the chicken.
Bake chicken at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes, or until chicken releases its juices. Then bake, uncovered for 15 more minutes, allowing the liquid in the dish to thicken slightly to a gravy.
Remove from oven and combine the gravy in the dish with the reserved cilantro chutney. Mix this well and serve over the chicken.

THIS IS THE BEST FOOD YOU'LL EVER COOK.

jc

You Tube and I - MeTube? ITube?

So YouTube has changed the world. It's true, I read it in Time magazine. Having set up a YouTube account and having worked out iMovie on my computer, it's now time for me to start making bad videos to show the world. My first was already posted in the last entry and here's my second(more snowboarding exploits). YouTube makes it ridiculously easy to put video clips on the blog, so you can expect more. Who knows, maybe one day one of these videos will take the number one spot from "that dancing guy."

The soundtrack of this video might contain language unsuitable to people under the mental age of 18.

Snowboards and Moustaches

Winter in Korea brings two things. Snowboarding season and the annual growing of the beard. This year is no exception and I offer here a video and some pics of the new 'tache. It's an homage to my Uncle Jimmy, he's had this very same moustache for as long as I've known him.

I'm also including another pic of a sweet 'tache that I've grown in the past.

Enjoy!
